长期从事环境工程、热能工程领域的研究和开发,主要的研究涉及烟气污染物控制研究和固体废物(包括生物质等)能源化技术,是科技部能源环境领域、科技部中小企业创新基金环境领域、教育部环境工程领域网上项目评审专家。同时也是国家自然科学基金、天津市自然科学基金、江苏省和浙江省等基金项目评审专家。为国内外热能与环境领域数十种著名期刊杂志的评审论文,如《Applied Catalysis B, Environmental》、《Environmental Sci Technology》、《Chemical Engineering Journal》、《Fuel》、《Fuel processing Technology》、《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Energy》和《Energy Conversion and Management》、《中国电机工程学报》、《化工学报》、《燃料科学学报》、《中国环境科学学报》等期刊。
