陈炯炯,女,1982年2月出生,博士,华中农业学院园艺林学学院蔬菜系副教授,硕士生导师,园艺植物生物学教育部重点实验室研究人员。博士期间主要从事与生殖相关的S5基因的克隆以及功能分析,并对该基因编码的天冬氨酸蛋白酶家族的起源进化进行了详细分析。相关工作以第一作者发表在PNAS和Gene杂志上。目前,主要从事植物分子进化研究,研究内容包括抗病基因进化及功能分析;微型反向转座子(MITE)进化、起源,及其对植物基因和基因组进化的影响;生菜叶型发育及进化分析。相关工作以第一作者或通讯作者发表在Mol Biol Evol,Nucleic Acids Res 和BMC Genomics等影响因子较高的杂志上。未来的研究工作将集中在人工选择对生菜/莴笋株型、叶型的影响及其遗传和分子机理。为了以后系统进行叶型发育和进化的研究,2013年5月至2014年5月美国加州大学伯克利分校从事一年叶发育相关研究(2013.05-2014.05)。
