结核分枝杆菌是一种重要的病原细菌,能感染人和多种动物引起结核病,对人类健康和公共卫生安全构成了严重威胁。我国是结核病的重灾区,患者人数居世界第二位,每年死亡人数多达15万。特别是,对于耐药型结核目前几乎无药可治,亟待研发新型药物和防控技术。为此,本团队主要通过构建和解析该重要病原细菌的基因调控网络,阐明其生长和耐药调控机制,发现新功能基因和新药靶,最终研发具有自主知识产权的诊断产品和新型疫苗。
